Speaking & Sub installation help

Hi guys,

I'm new here, i just bought my 190 this saturday and had to do a 350 mile roadtrip; run like a bloody dream, bit hard though seeing as I just went from driving a 19 year old mini to a 20 year old tank!

I gotta couple of questions, seeing as this is the first saloon car i've ever owned, got no idea at all on how to setup the sound system; got a few questions if you guys could be so kind as to answer :)

First, my headunit is awful, and when i say awful, i mean its...uhh...awful. infact its so bad i cant scroll forwards in the tracks, only backwards. But however i cant seem to get the thing out to put my other one in, unlike my mini there is no easy 'flick the catch and whip it out' sort of jobby seeing as its housing is built into the car, so first how do i do that?

Second, I wanna run my sub from the boot, best ways to do this? No amp needed as its active.

Third, best way to install speakers? Got 8 sets of decent sized speakers that can be fitted, but however I have no idea how in this car.

Thanks for you help;

Jimbo

bump

AND addition, can someone please just tell me how to take out the radio, there seems to be no way of getting underneith or behind the dashboard.

You gotta first remove the ashtray, then use two thin screwdrivers to unclip the radio out from each side. The whole assembly and radio will come out as one. Then just unclip the bracket and remove the radio.
