Need help. Anyone....
My car is a 400sel, with Becker Grand Prix Radio model 1432.
When I turn it on, the antenna goes up but the radio doesn't
go on. The LCD say E 2. Need help on fixing the problem.
It's a 10 speaker Bose system.

I checked my instruction manual....
 

...but could not find error code E2. The manual is not very helpful with that kind of information. Do you have a CD changer attached to it? It may be something to do with the CD changer itself. You may try calling Becker of North America and see if they can help you.

In case you need to have your BE1432 fixed or replaced I have one that I took out of my 1991 420SEL. It's in perfect working condition and it includes the h/u, the trunk amp, the two small black amps, mounting bracket and code card.

Go to the bulletin board at beckerautosound.com and search for "error code" you will find a thread that lists what the error codes stand for. This may help narrow down the part with the fault.
