OH NO! i broke my antena

i broke my antena! where can i find replacements? how it happened was i was out shooting trap in decature IL and picked up my shotgun, swung it around and it hit my antena and it broke off in about the middle of the antena. Where can i find a replacment?

don't worry

I just did the same thing (well...with the car wash, not a rifle)....EASY FIX!!!! picked up an antenna on ebay for under $20 shipping included. Takes all of 5 minutes with the help of someone in the car. I know I have posted info before on how to do it...there should be several posts on antennas...just do a search. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll help you out. Very easy...

When you replace the mast if the antenna won't fully retract remove the entire antenna assembly. You're looking for a metal ring (not black, it's metallic colored) that snapped off of the old antenna. This is preventing the new one from fully retracting. You can remove it using a unsharpened pencil (eraser down) and tapping it with a hammer (or atleast I was able to)
