Satellite Radio In 2005 CDI
What's involved in adding satellite radio to a 2005 CDI that already has navigation? Is the car pre-wired for satellite?
Is there a factory kit available? Does it run XM or Sirius?

I think that you can tap into your car's sound system via the antenna input with an FM modulator or via and aux jack like a CD changer plugs into. Hitman would probably know.

i installed the factrory kit in my 2005 C230 a few months ago, was pretty straight forward, had to spend around $700 for parts, and had to bore a hole in my trunk lid. only tricky part is configuring the fiber optic cables and retrofitting the unit in the Comand system parameters, fortunately i have access to the factory diagnostic tool, and was able to do it all mysely
