W210 - dash and pillar speaker integration?
I was wondering if any W210 owners here, especially those with the Bose system, have been able to successfully integrate the dash and/or pillar speakers in their cars?
From what I have researched it seems the dash speakers are only used for the cell phone? The pillar speakers seem to only be used in the non-Bose stock system. It would be nice to integrate those speakers into the Bose system in order to balance things a bit better in terms of mid-highs and above. I find that having those frequencies blasted at my shins is a less than optimal solution. Perhaps the Bose guys tested the system on their knees? Is there an easy way to hook these up or re-route the existing wiring to integrate them? Any info appreciated, thanks!
