radio problem

hello board,
I have a question? Can the radio wiring harness be bad if the radio controls are not functioning properly? No volume control, CD or any buttons work at times and other times they work find. Or is the radio bad. I believe the detailers might have spray a liquid while cleaning and it may have gotten into the radio. Becker 1692.

My guess? Probably the radio but you need to do more testing to be sure. Find a local radio repair shop that specializes in foreign auto radios. If it is the radio, Becker North America has an exchange program. Last time I checked it was about about $130.
