W126 Radio Issue
I've recently noticed that my AM signal seems to go in and out when driving over rough spots on the road. Sometime the signal gets so weak that I can barely hear it, then "BOOM" I hit a bump in the road and the signal is loud and clear.
Any one have any ideas on what causes this? This happens on my '91 W126 with the original Becker radio.

Sounds like the connection is loose.

Probably a ground is loose.

Thanks, Guys.
We're thinking that it's an antenna wire.

Does it have a cassette player? If the cassette plays fine, then antenna wire/antenna plug at back of head unit. If it happens with the cassette, then check all wires, ground included. Good luck,
C.
