can I replace my becker 1432 with a 780?

My 1432 cassette is broken..I can get a refubished 780..will it work in my 1991 300e

Unfortunately it won't be plug and play. Becker may be able to get you an adaptor harness.

I really doubt it, the 1432 is a two piece radio, tuner in trunk/control in dash. I guess you can do a complete rewire, consider having becker rebuild yours.
