Radio code by serial #?
Got the radio code by vin from dealer, but does not seem to work. Anyone have access to codes by radio serial #.
S/NO.AL2294S0157606 B Code given by dealer 15526 Almost forgot-1995 C280 Last edited by moto773; 02-15-2008 at 05:41 PM. Reason: year of car

The dealer can look up the code by radio serial number as well as VIN. Also, if you have service records from a dealer look in misc box (upper/middle) right for a 5 or 6 digit entry with no descriptor. You can double check the code they gave you.

i got the same code, what happens when you enter it? did you push the SC button after code entry? some units have to be installed completely before the code will work

Sorry. My car's different. I just enter the digits in order using the memory buttons on the radio. If you have the radio manual, there should be an explanation in it.
