kenwood radio code
 

I just bought a Kenwood head on Craigslist,i had it installed and now cant play for i am missing the code.
Is there a universal code for kenwood,i am super bummed just installed in on my w116.

you need to talk to the previous owner because they set the codes.

This was boughta year ago on Craigslist,i have no way to contact seller,wish i did.

do you have the owners manuscript for it, it might say how to get the code off. i have a kenwood and i will look at my owners manuscript in the morning to see if there is anything about that so i will get back to you in the late afternoon most likely.

got some bad news it cant be reset you need to know the code that was set. so this is what i would do. crack open that sucker and see if there is a small watch battery on the circuit board if there is then take it off and then reinstall it like after 1 hour. that is the only way i could see you being able to use the unit. give it a shot you have nothing to loose because it doesn't work anyways. hope this helps you.
