Hirshman antenna experts?

I have a couple of these that I have taken from parts cars. I want to test them to see if they work. do they ground through the mounting screws?

Funny you asked. I just got through overhauling mine after having some issues. I didn't get operation until I got the shaft housing grounded to the vehicle chassis...typically, where it mounted through the antenna access hole (I was doing a field diagnosis).

Cool. I will try that and see if I get operation.

Thanks!
