Has anyone mounted an LCD in their w123?
If so, what did you use, what unit, and so on. Are you happy with the results? Do they make anything with a remote "brain box" where one might plug in accessories (AV inouts and so forth), that way, there isn't a whole mess of wires running all over the plkace that I have to worry about covering up.

this is very possible but would involve some money for what you want. You also would need to be good enough in fiberglass to mold the trim piece around the screen. Alpine makes some 2 din head units with screen but they are expensive. Kenwood makes some and for the money they are the best bet. you would have to remove the ash tray so you could fit the whole thing in. If i had the money I would do it, and i am very capable of doing it but money is the issue.
