Well, there is one thing you can do...

Assuming you have a headphone jack aux imput, you can get one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Bluetooth-Stereo-Gateway-Mini/dp/tech-data/B0025KV6KG

(it works with phones other than blackberries.)

Wire up another power port and run a cell phone charger into it, then hook it into the auxiliary port, and bam, you have a2dp. You can hide it all out of sight under the dash if you really wanted to...

Doh, i should have read the thread more thoroughly.

Motorola makes a bluetooth kit that does handsfree calling and also has bluetooth stereo.

Yup, it's something along the lines of this that I was planning on doing. I just need to find the right bit of kit (i.e. one that doesn't require me pressing buttons to turn it on, and will start when the ignition is turned to 'ON'), then I just need to press my trim removing tools into service to tuck everything away.

The bluetooth MB puck is not A2DP compatible. You can of course, replace your CD changer with a DB2 Ipod controller and use a Ipod in place of your changer.

Unfortunately, I'm not an iPod owner, and I doubt there's a solution (other than the AUX connection) for my Android phone.

HU Option

I've posted this unit before but haven't seen anyone responses. This HU looks like it'll blend well with the W124 and W210 dashes and may be a direct connection since it has the same German design as the Becker/Alpine units.

Toronto 410 BT

I replaced my original W124's stereo with a Blaupunkt and had to cut wires to the fader and run new ones to the amp in the back.

That unit also won't work for me as I have COMAND in my W210, and it won't fit in the slot.

Ahh...that's right. I'd forgotten you'd mentioned Comand in a previous post. Yeah, that'd be a problem.

Depending on how Q1 goes I may take the plunge and get the 410 BT for my 210. I'll give a thorough review if I do. Won't help you much though, unfortunately.

Merry Christmas!
