I removed one of the front speakers from my SEC and noticed there is a plastic connector between the lead from the HU and the speaker. In the past I have not seen this and just soldered the new speaker wires to these leads. This time I thought it would be nice to use these connectors, but don't know if the one on the speaker side comes apart somehow or is molded onto the wire.
Does anybody know it there's a way to remove the original wire and reinsert the wire leads to the new Infinities I'm trying to install?
