Hello, I have 1993 300E Merc. I changed my battery and the radio is not working anymore.
Can anyone help please. The radio is BECKER Model 1432, Serial No. C9730667.

Do you have any ROs(Repair Order)/reciepts on the Automobile from a MB dealer?
Somewhere on the Receipt/RO will be the two letters displayed as "R/C" followed by 4 digits (Maybe 5) this is your radio code.
When you turn on the radio the screen will say "CODE" enter the four digits
using the station preset #s at the top of the faceplate.
IF you try incorrectly more than a few times the screen will change to "WAIT"
(and then you have to,with the ignition turned "ON") It may be 15 minutes
or it could be 24 hours,depending on how many incorrect entries.

Any Dealership can provide you with the code# if the radio is the original one.
