Smile stereo upgrade cl55 amg command

I have a 2004 cl55 AMG it has at least 11 speakers, maybe 12? anybody know?I would like to know the factory watts output, and any recommendations for a cleaner sound.I am thinking the Alpine pdx5 amp, maybe 2?

I am open to suggestion.

alright well while I cant answer your question for the factory unit as for making it sound better, well that depends how deep your pockets are. For that many speakers you will need some amps and a brain. To get good sound will mean that replacement speakers will be needed.
I really cant help with out knowing how many speakers there are because 10 is to much. Count all the speakers but dont include the tweeters because those are on crossovers from the main speakers.

So here we go.

Best Option:

-AudioControl's DQL-8 processor (This is to get the Signal Flat because the factory head unit has built in equalizers, this removes them. It also has a aux in so you can hook up a Ipod. This unit allows you to still use the factory stereo 100% but just with better sound)

-Some nice speakers anything but the stock speakers will be better (Alpine, Kenwood Excelon, Kicker, JL Audio)

-The amps that you mentioned are fine

Now all of this costs alot but audio isnt that cheap, now if price was no problem then you could go well in the tens of thousands of dollars for car audio.
