Radio swap.
My 1984 300D has the stock radio with an analog display. I had a 1979 300D a while back with a Becker Mexico, would one of those fit in the 1984 or are the connections different? I don't have a Becker Mexico handy to check myself.

US 1984 cars should have a digital read out and a 612 model Becker in there.
The older style I think you're after is the Europa, it's more hassle than it's worth to install as it's got some separate module at the end of a DIN plug. |
