1994 E320 wagon antenna up with radio off

Before I try to make sense of the wiring behind the radio, does anyone know why when the engine is running and the radio off, my antenna is up? There's no way for it to retract unless the engine is shut off. The existing Becker radio was replaced once with the same model Becker... I'm suspicious of the previous owner.

Maybe the antenna switch is set to max/full up (locked) position?

Yeah, they wired up the antenna lead to to ignition lead instead of the antenna lead.

Do you have the tools to pull it out to fix it?

Yes I have the two Becker pull-out tools. Which colored wire goes where?
