Really good one!
I was removing the black boxes in the drivers side trunk and needed to get to the antenna assembly for repair. I assume they are for the phone system, but now ...still with a broken antenna mast there is no radio sound. It lights up enters code, turns on. just no sound.
Now the really bad part.. my father inlaw threw out the 2 black boxes I removed and thought they were junk. Please tell me on of these was not the stereo amplifier.

Those 'boxes' serve as the "amp" for the phone, radio and CD player!

Time to visit a junk yard . . .

Well if I have to start sourcing the parts. There was 2 black boxes on a metal bracket, right in front of the antenna assembly. Will I need both of them or just one ...aka the radio amplifier. I hope the 2nd one is something for the phone system only. Does anyone have a picture of what is in their car so I can start tracking down what is needed. Thanks. Ken
