sounds like if the antenna wont go up, then your remote turn on lead is not conected. the antenna trigger wire usually triggers the amps to power on.

check to see if you have missed connecting a wire.

as far as i know the theft deterrent only works if the alarm is activated...... and it will disable the radio i do not know if it will only disable the amplifier.

if you have no antenna going up when the unit is on, then check your wiring behind the radio for a loose or a wire that is not connected.

Hi, I did not figure it out. I sent my radipo to Becker North America and got it rebuilt once, for about $265, and it lasted a couple years. I want to buy a cheap aftermarket radio, so I will have a radio, but I don't knbow where I can get a harness adaptor and I don't want to cut the harness.
Guess I'll have to sing to myself (on, no, not that....)
