W126 Becker Grand Prix: No Output: Update

Hi, two of us forum members now are equally stuck: we both removed our radios to access climate controls or other non-audio repiars, now our displays indicate fully operational radios, but there's no audio output, and, what's more baffling, the power antennas will not respond either automatically nor by the manual switch. We have checked the fader switches and they are plugged into the harness.
This has to have happened to someone before, so does anyone have a fix?

What year is the car?

Does the radio have display? if no, check fuses on the radio and under hood

We just need more information

1986 420SEL. Original Becker Grand Prix.Radio has normal display: station, etc, and responds normally to control inputs, just zero output to speakers: no static, no popping, nothing. All because I removed it to check part of the climate control behind it.

Randy do you have power to your antenna switch?
Get a two foot piece of wire and clip it to the stub sticking our from your retracted antenna (mimicking a raised antenna). If you get sound you have a power problem to antenna. If no sound you do not have power to amp.

I assume everything worked before you worked on CCU - something is not connected back properly.

Make sure stuff is plugged in, perhaps you forgot the speaker wires or fader.
