I have a 86 300 sdl with the cheap ass 4 speaker and about 12 1/2 watt stereo out.lol well anyways I was wondering what kind of speakers you would recommend for replacement, I am looking for some that can handle a decent amount of bass and I would be able to hear clearly with the windows open on the highway. I am currently looking at Eclipses, do you guys have any other suggestions? thanks, Bobby

If you are thinking about eclipse speakers, then I hope you're backing it up with an amp. Your stock deck will not power eclipse enough and they will not sound good.

I feel that there are better speakers for the money out there, such as Polk, Bostons or MB Quart.

ok i looked around and i like the Infinities and i think they are decently priced, and sound like they can handle what im looking for what are your opinions on these?,

Infinity makes some decent speakers. I've owned a few pairs in the past, and found them to lack in mid-bass. They are great on the higher ends. They will not handle a lot of power.
