In my SEL, I have a pair of cheap pioneer 3-way speakers up front and a cheap pair of pioneer 3-way 6x9s. I have a subwoofer.

I'd like to reduce the low freq. response of my front little speakers. I've hear rumors of adding a resistor inline somewhere.

int he rear I'd like to eliminate the two tweeters. Can their leads be merely disconnected to do this? or will that mess it up?
