Unhappy Anybody else still waiting for Crutchfield adaptors??

I ordered a wiring harness for the new JVC I'm putting in my 81 300D, and when it got here (which was very quick), they had sent a harness for what supposedly was correct for my car. I called them and after explaining what I had, they told me that the power hook-up was actually an 84-85 type. The speaker adapters were correct. They said to keep the one they sent and they'd send me the power adapter as soon as they got them in, as they were out of them and waiting for a back order. Anyway, it's been almost 2 months since they told me that, (and I wrote them in late December, but they were still "not in". Has anybody else out there had to wait for 2 months to get something from Crutchfield?? I'm about to ask for my dollars back and start splicing wires- original set up be damned! (But I don't really want to) Second question is, does anybody have an adapter they can spare? I've been waiting for tunes for months.

Thumbs up

Just tap into the factory wiring. You do not have to cut it out unless you want to do so. Hell you can even run one to the battery for constant and your switches to the cigarette lighter.

Brown is ground.
Violet is the dimmer.
Black with tracer is switched 12v
Red with tracer is constant 12v

Wire up the speaker wires how you wish. I would just run fresh wiring to all new speakers.
