Stereo output question
Is the output from a iPod different than from a XM radio? I had a Becker modified with a iPod jack in the front plate, with the goal of using my XM radio in the car. I get no sound at all. I was using the headphone jack of the XM, which I thought was the same as a iPod, but now I wonder. I do not have an iPod to see if that actually works.
thanks Fred

You may have to go into the menu and activate the headphone out. My receiver has the built in FM x-mitter, but no headphone out so I'm just guessing...
Did you send the HU back to Becker? I'm budgeting $ and time to that for my 300CE.

Yup Becker did the work. I plugged my XM into a brand new car that had a MP3 jack and it worked fine, and the headphones work normally as well. I was wondering if there is some difference in signal. Supposedly the becker will switch to the jack input and the radio will cut out.
