replacing stock speakers 89 300ce
hi, i love the sound output of the becker grand prix, but with my 21 year old sound system,i think i could use some befeier speakers,i used to have infinity in my camaro, any ideas on a good set for the back that can handle a lil more bass/midrange,and a nice set for thefront for tweeter/midrange? also stock replacement,so no body modifying is required.

Unless you purchase the (Rainbow?) direct fit speakers which are $$$$, you will have to cut the rear shelf and dash slightly to fit new speakers. Quick work if you have a Dremel. There are no "drop-in" sizes for these cars....

yeah i was looking at the prices for stock replacements, crazy, maybe i will look for a nice pair of boston acoustics 6" x 9" and smaller infinities up front.i like both series of speakers ,tuff choice. do you hav any preferences between infinity or boston acoustics? ive heard that polk audio is nice to.
