Becker Radio Code and VIN help?
Can someone tell me the decoding of my 1988 300CE VIN: WDBEA50D7JA752792
Also, my Becker radio (Becker 780 Grand Prix) has ==== across the front. Is there a code required for this radio? I have the original Owners Service and Warranty Policy booklet. Inside there is a Warranty Registration Card with the VIN, original owner, and some other information. Included in this information is a code: 672682 Would this code be for the radio? If so, how do you enter this code or what is the key sequence besides the code? Do I need to press any other button or do I need to press a button to get the radio into the mode to receive the code? Thanks in advance for you help. V/R, Kurt

Dashes means the dealer has to reset it.
Early Becker codes are four digits.
