87 300TD radio antenna issues
it's a hacked in aftermarket radio. all the fader stuff is bypassed, and the radio antenna has a mind of it's own.
where should I start looking to track down the antenna circuit?

on a generic head it's usually a blue wire. might say "accessory on".

Off the aftermarket HU the power antenna/accessory wire is usually blue, if there are any amps or something else they may be daisy-chained into the install.
If the antenna's flaky it may be the HU signal, or power to the antenna or ground. Standard electrical gremlins. |
