2002 ML320 sound system loses audio. May go out for a few minutes, hours, days or weeks. Disconnecting the battery and reentering radio code will usually start it back for awhile. Sometimes it just comes back while driving. Everything looks like it's working, just no sound. One exception...sometimes it says "no cd installed". I believe all this is looped together by fiber optics. Does it have a replaceable amp? The only reason I'm thinking amp is sometimes when it is working, it seems like the volume will go up and down slightly on its own. Also wondered if it could be a bad cd changer since it often says not installed. Advice?
