I have a 98 CLK coupe. The lower rear speaker on the passenger door started to buzz when playing at loud volume. I think it's a woofer. The other two speakers on the door are fine.
Does this speaker have to be replaced? Is it accessible without removing the whole door panel (does the grill pull out?) |

See if it's under warranty.

On most, the door panel has to come off. Usually if the grill will come off, the speaker will not come out the hole and the panel needs to come off anyway.
