I'm trying to run some wires from the headrest down through the back of the front seats...I've succesfully been able to run a coat hanger through one of the headrest holes down all the way to the bottom, but I can't see an easy way to get wires through there...tying/taping them to the hanger makes the whole contraption too thick. I noticed that there are two screws at the bottom of the seat that seem to hold the back panel on, but removing them doesn't seem to loosen anything. I'm sure there's a clip that will allow me to pull that back panel off...anyone that knows, please fill me in...thanks!!

This question has been answered before and is in the archives. Just click on "search" at the top of this page. Search for a post titled:

"How to remove the front seat back?"

Just curious...
Are you trying to put speakers in your headrests?
Or maybe a video display like the BRABUS S-Class?

Bill -

Thanks for the tip, I got em off and ran the wires successfully The screws were damn near impossible to remove but I eventually got them loose. Yes, I'm mounting 6" LCD video monitors in the headrests I also have a 6.4" LCD in the passenger visor and a 4" LCD on dash. No, I don't watch TV on the 4" LCD when I drive, I have a custom onboard computer system for playing mp3's (over 2000 songs available)and GPS navigation. There's also a VCR and playstation that can be switched through to any of the monitors in the car...it's all topped off with a Clarion/Rockford Fosgate stereo setup...not competition level sound but solid...I'll be updating the website for the car pretty soon, but for now check out the URL's listed below.

Thanks for all the help!!
