There are 4 wires going to the amp, well 5 actually.

-The 12v constant, which is a heavy gauge waire directly to the battery with a fuse in between.

-The ground.

-The remote line going to the HU

-The two RCA cables in input, going to the back of the HU.

Also, sorry for the pic quality. I took these after the sun went down last night.

Post 14 says the amp powers up, so it's probably safe to look between the amp and the subs. There's no wire listed for that above, but post 14 says a thick wire, so I'll assume you didn't overlook getting a signal to the subs.

Do you have the correct crossover selected on the amp? I assume you'd want low pass since you're going to the subs. You may want to adjust the cutoff, or try a different crossover to see if the subs respond.

Ok, let me start out by saying that I am a moron.

I thought I was adjusting the volume on the amp, and I was adjusting the frequency. I had it wired correctly (well, kind of). The subs are not hitting well, and I'm pretty sure it has to do with how I have the crossover wired.

They sound muffled and aren't really hitting. So, if i unplug just one of the RCA cables, then only one speaker hits, but it hits HARD and sounds good. At first, I thought this meant that I had a blown speaker, but if I plug the RCA into either slot, one or the other speaker hits hard. So, I don't think I'm dealing with a blown sub. So, I thought maybe the RCA cable is bad, but the same thing here...If I used the other side of the RCA on either of the subs, it hits hard.

I feel like this is probably something I'll be able to figure out by trying out different combinations of set ups, but I wasn't really able to get to it last night, as before I could, my roommate accidentally broke my antenna mast :(
