I have a 93 300se.. is it prewired for a ch changer???? what is the pn??? will any stock cd changer off a w140 work??? where is the wire located in the trunk???

The W140 should have pre-wiring for the CD changer. Try behind one of the side panels...

Hi,

The radio in the 1993 300SE is the 2 piece Becker type. It used the old 10 Disc Becker Silverstone that was junk! You can buy a 6 disc Alpine CHM-620, 3 Mercedes-Benz interface adapters, and 1 aftermarket plug to run the cd changer just like the original 10 disc type. The rear tuner portion of the radio is located on the left side of the trunk behing the panel.
