Fading in and out, it will work sometimes and then just fade out and sometimes not work then start working again. Do you think its a connection or the radio is going bad?

It lights up , powers up the antenna ect ect.

Sounds like a loose connection, but I did notice on mine the fade switch in the center console has a bad connection and will cause the radio volume to go in and out

factory radio is a pos; get a good aftermarket unit, and trash the fader, you'll be much happier with the sound.
