My current setup consists of: Eclipse 5443 HU, Focal 5.25 Comp set, Focal 4's, a USAmps 50x2 for the comp set, a USAmps 25x2 for the 4s, a USAmps 300x1 for a 12" Image Dyanmics DVC Sub, and a crossover. My problem is.. my stereo isn't that loud. Sure it gets loud compared to factory, but a freinds $200 total setup is louder than my $2000+ setup.. What's going on?

Well, this sounds to me very loud...
You might not have enough power that goes into the amps. You might need a separate set of batteries and one or two capacitors. ------------------ ------------------------------------- http://connect.to/windowsce A.S.C. 2000 - Mercedes Benz 560SEC 1986 28.000km BRABUS ------------------------------------- |

Have you adjusted the gain on your amps? Also, if your amps have the ability to be attenuated for 4 volt pre-outs, and you're head unit is not a 4-12 volt pre-out head, then that could also be a problem if you have this attenuation on.
Keep us posted. ------------------ Best regards, Michael '92 500E '88 300TE |
