Inside the box: Hirschmann Auta 6000EL Antenna
 

Hey everyone,

I went to the junkyard today and in my travels picked up this Hirschmann Auta 6000EL Power Antenna from a 420SEL.

I tested it out today and discovered that its broken! I'm going to attempt a repair on it soon enough. I thought I'd share some pictures with you before hand. It looks like some jb weld and a new mast will fix it right up. My old 6000E unit needs cleaned and a new mast as well. I replaced the mast once but with the wrong type.
