I dynamated my whole trunk lid last weekend but it didn't help the rattling at all. Today I took out the three shingles behind the center hook of the trunk lid that goes into the trunk lock (sorry for the bad explanation). My lid shuts a lot tighter and doesn't vibrate at all any more.
