While i'm driving, and playing my music loud in the car, at some points the music "dies" and the sound dims until i hit a pothole or a bump in the road, when the music comes back to normal again. I have a sub in the trunk, with 2 amps--1 amp powering the speakers, and another powering the sub. I looked if any connections were loose, but everything seemed to be in order. Its very annoying to be driving and enjoying the music, until the sound fades away, and you have to wait until you hit a bump so the sound can come back. It even happens sometimes while i'm not driving. What can this be?...bad amp?....bad connection somewhere?

If BOTH amps get quieter then its not an amp problem.

If one gets quieter then I'd suspect the amp.

As it is, I personally think its probably your ground wire from the amps. Difficult to say from here tho.
