The mid-range Bose speaker in my driver's door (94 SL320) is fried; the dealer is telling me replacement cost is $247 part alone (he sez woofer and midrange is one unit). Are there alternative speakers available on the aftermarket for an SL that don't require modification? Or am I stuck with the Bose -- which I don't love anyway? Alternatively, is there are source for just the midrange speaker (I am assuming the tweeter is in the dash).

TIA
Vic
94 SL320
