impressions of Pioneer units with Listening Position Selector

I am looking to build a sound system in my W126 with superior staging and bandwidth as my primary goals. Has anyone installed a Pioneer head unit such as the DEH-P930 with the microphone and wave-front timing feature they call "Listening Position Selector?" How do you like it?

I am all-ears to other solutions for wave-front timing in MB chassis. Thanks for the insight! Andrew Seidel.
