I just purchased a new amp which seemed to be a good deal to me. Its a 300 watt 4 channel amp made by Pyramid. Does anyone have experience with this company?....Are they good amps, or have I bought a piece of crap??..Its going to be powering the 4 speakers in my 89 300E. I got it for 60 bucks brand new, so I figured it was dirt cheap. What am I looking to recieve out of this amp? Any comments would be appreciated.

sorry to say ive had all bad things to say about those amps. i bought ppi pc4100's for my 300e, they are great!
dont get me rong, these amps do work somewhaT, YOUR AMP WOULD BE GOOD FOR RUNNING ONE 8 OR 10 IN SUB BRIDGED MONO BUT, NOT GOOD FOR MIDS OR HIGHS.

You should not expect to get the wattage output that the amp manufacturer claims for that amp. Those ratings were obtained in very "ideal" conditions. You should usually expect to pay about a dollar per what when you buy a quality amp.

Pyramid is known for making low-quality products. I doubt it will even run in mono.

Pyramid is the trademark of a company whose products are made in China. Their better woofers are made in the U.S. by Eminence. If you talk to anyone who knows high quality car audio about Pyramid, they will probably respond with a very negative answer.
