Hi everybody. New to the board and already need help!

Bought the Alpine CD changer S620 and the adaptor tonight. I test it and it runs fine with the radio. However, the included mounting plates do not seem to fit any holes on on the side member next to the battery. Is there a dedicated bracket I need to buy form MBZ dealer for the installation?

Ah, answered my own question after several searches which did not bring the needed information earlier on.

Ming post last year that there is indeed such a kit form MB. Hopping down to the dealer for the kit tomorrow and hope they have it in stock.

No matter, I am happy to have found this site.

Some update incase opthers may find it useful.

The brackets of the Alpine changer do not fit onto the MB mounting plate afterall. Had to ask audio shop to rivet them onto the plate. Otherwise all is fine and I have new toy in the car.
