Recently I installed a Rockford 8120 CD Head unit in my 89 190 E 2.6. Or I should say had installed by the Specialists here in Tucson. Suddenly with the headlights on, a/c on the deck's illumination color (orange) has started to "flash"....especially on CD's that have lots of low end. I'm not running pre out to a power amp yet just running off the head unit. Obviously it's starving for current so I had the battery and the alternator checked this morning and both were fine. I then went back to the shop and had them re-rout the power lead and the ground....still "flashes". Anybody have a similiar experience and if so what might I check out?
