Using my turn signals or brights turns my radio off and on again?

Title says it all, guys. When I use the turn signals on my 81 380sl, or turn my brights on or off, my Blaupunkt Houston will turn off and come right back on again -- not always, but enough to bother me.

It's not the fuse. So, I pulled the radio, disconnected the ground, and ran a new ground to the chassis. But it still turned on and off when I hit the brights. As the radio only has a power wire, ground wire, and remote wire for the antenna, I can't imagine why using the brights would do this. So any help would be appreaciated.

Thanks in advance.

Problem is fixed I forgot that I removed the instrument cluster because my seat belt light was flashing briefly now and then. So I pulled the seat belt bulb along with its holder out of the cluster, and just left it hanging. Mistake!

As the wiring diagram shows, the power to the radio, cluster, and turn-signal stalk are related

So when I reinstalled the seat belt bulb and holder, the problem was solved.
