Decent Multimeter for around $50?

I am stumped on finding a new multimeter. I was using a great one, but I no longer have it and it was purchased in Taiwan. I really liked that it had a clamp and it beeped during continuity testing. I’m not sure if I’ll be able for find one like that for the price though. What is your favorite?

Suggestions?

Thats the one that I use. Its a pretty handy meter. It does beep. It does not have a clamp ammeter on it though.

Our MB's dont require real high tech meters.

The cheepie meters do the job. Ive seen them as low as $3 on ebay.

My current favorite DMM is made by Uni-T. Popular in Asia. Decent build quality. None of that annoying autoranging crap. Well, mine doesn't anyway.

EEVblog is a better place to ask.

has anyone heard of UNI-T multimeters off ebay??? - Page 1

Thanks for the words guys. Just picked one up from Sears to fill the need for now. Will probably invest in a Fluke later down the road for house project also.

The harbor freight "nice" ones are very feature-packed and cheap, ne'er had an issue with mine
