Will high Pfmce Radio fit in Stdrd sys

I was wondering if the radio head unit from a 1995 high performance system work in the standard sound system on the W124 E class cars.
This is an odd question..

Have 95 wagon with strd system and access to the HP radio unit. So I thought I would try to install it. Dont want to install aftermarket since I love the appearance of the units.
