Blaupunkt Atlanta 110, keeps resetting to EUROPE

Hey so I bought this radio to replace the aging Becker Grand Prix. It works great and the sound quality is superb. But it keeps resetting to EUROPE instead of USA for the tuner region. It's incredibly perplexing, as the wiring harness that Becker Auto Sound supplied with the radio allows for a permanent 12V going to the radio. So theoretically, it should maintain my settings. Has anyone else run into a similar problem with this radio or others similar to it? If so, how did you resolve it? If I can't fix it myself, I have to call the BAS people and find out what the deal is. I must be missing something.

So the new suspicion after attempting to fix it several times has to do with the plug and play harness that came with the radio. We think a couple of the leads on the harness were installed incorrectly, so we're taking a voltmeter out to test it. I'll let you guys know what I find.

I suspect the problem lies in the fact that if you have a late 90s 210, the switched and unswitched 12 V dc on the ISO connector is backwards of the standard. I discovered this while installing the Parrot Bluetooth adapter in my wife's 1998 E300D.
