Eliminating trunk rattling in 300E
Blah, I installed 2 12 inch subs in my 300E a while ago and it sounds pretty good but my darn trunk seems to rattle. First problem was my 3rd brake light, it would batter itself against my rear window so I simply custom fir some rubber inbetween to keep them tight together. Second problem was the trunk. From the inside it sounds fine, but from the outside it sounds like I have a soundproof trunk and the only thing you hear it a rattle. I'm assuming its the plastic cowling around the inside, but the only thing I can think of doing is getting dynamat to fix it. I was just looking for simpler solutions.
