1996 W210 Phone Antenna Hack DIY
Only the 1996 W210 has a power antenna for the phone as far as I know.
I started a thread asking where the wires for the power antenna for the phone were in the cabin of the car. I got no response, so I dug into it myself. In the following post I found the wires and figured out how to make the antenna go up and down using them. Power Phone Antenna Wiring W210 I started this thread with a more appropriate title now that is not an inquiry, but a DIY.

How did it go with your antenna mod ? I am about to start the same thing in my 1996 E300D . Are there and coax wires running up to the front of the car or in the trunk ? I see the 25 pin connector in the trunk but do not see any type of coax. Also any idea if these antennas can be used with a dual band 800/1900mhz phone ?
