Question CD Changer for 95 C220

I'm looking to add a CD Changer to my 95 C220. Using the posts on this page, I found what I think is the CD cable in the trunk - but it's a 25 pin RS232 (drivers side tire well), not a 10 pin. The head unit is capable of controlling a CD changer. Is this really the CD cable, and can anyone point me to a location to find a changer? I've been to Crutchfield's and SoundDomain's sites, and they only seem to have the 10 pin adapter cables.

Thanks

I think you're on the wrong side of the trunk. The adapter you found I believe is for the older style phone, when the TRU was mounted back there and the phone handset stayed in the car, mobile, but not "portable".
The CD adapter you will find on the right side (passenger side) behind the trunk trim. The CD changer is supposed to mount in the pocket on the far right side of the trunk.

Thumbs up

Thanks! - I found it in the wire mess next to the battery.

Off to Crutchfield for the changer - Then to look for some toy to hook up to the RS 232 port!

I have a 95 C220 and removed my factory headunit and
Alpine CD changer when I bought an indash CD.

I will sell the addaptor and changer for 120.00
The changer was already installed
in the car when I bought it, so I don't have any of
the documentaion. I think it was installed in 98.

If you have any questions email me.
